Requirements
- At least 1-year experience in the role of an Insurance Claims Specialist or a similar role.
- Comprehensive knowledge of medical billing procedures and processes.
- Proficiency in using IDX system is necessary for efficient performance in this role.
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required for this position.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills to liaise with insurance companies and resolve claim issues.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple claims and meet deadlines effectively.
- Familiarity with insurance policies and regulations in the higher education sector is desirable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel for data management and analysis.
- Strong attention to detail to review insurance claims and identify any discrepancies.
