About the position

The Insurance Commercial Lines Customer Service Representative at Bank Midwest is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to producers and clients. This role focuses on supporting the production of new accounts and the retention of existing commercial accounts, ensuring high-quality service and maintaining strong relationships with external vendors.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with agent to produce new accounts and retain existing commercial accounts.
• Provide prompt, efficient, high-quality service to designated accounts in support of producer and agency activities.
• Market commercial account renewals and gather necessary policy information for renewals, changes, and quotations.
• Maintain strong business relationships with external vendors, including underwriting, claims, and accounting staff of the insurance carriers.
• Respond to customer needs by handling calls, customer contact, and documentation within the management system, producing binders, certificates, and verifying accuracy.

Requirements

• Experience in customer service, preferably in the insurance industry.
• Working knowledge of insurance agency core systems, specifically EPIC and insurance carrier sites.
