About the position

The Insurance Commercial Lines Senior Account Manager is responsible for servicing a portfolio of middle market and large commercial lines accounts. This role focuses on delivering high-quality service to both internal and external clients, contributing to client retention, satisfaction, and overall agency value. The position plays a crucial role in maintaining customer relationships and directly impacts policy and premium retention rates, while also supporting Producers in their efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Service Commercial Lines Book of Business
  • Build and solidify relationships with existing clients through ongoing customer care
  • Manage endorsements and billing/payments including invoice transactions and finance agreements
  • Assist Claims Coordinator as needed
  • Create new and renewal business submissions
  • Generate loss runs and obtain experience modifiers
  • Gather and complete supplemental applications and supporting documentation
  • Issue certificates, evidence of insurance, auto ID cards, and binders
  • Process and mail out policies
  • Create proposals for Producers
  • Track and process cancellations
  • Conduct audit tracking
  • Issue and process bonds
  • Lead the renewal process in partnership with the Production team
  • Support Producers as the first line of contact when they are unavailable
  • Remarket accounts when necessary
  • Perform account rounding for existing Commercial Lines business
  • Conduct rating and comparisons
  • Build carrier relationships and stay updated on underwriting information
  • Maintain complete and accurate client and policy data within operating systems

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent; College Degree preferred
  • 3-7 years of Commercial Lines insurance account management experience
  • Oklahoma and TX Property & Casualty Insurance License
  • Thorough knowledge of commercial lines coverages and markets
  • Experience handling large, complex risks
  • Professional designations such as CISR, CIC, AINS, AAI, ARM, CRM, or CPCU are highly desirable
  • Proficient in PC operating systems - Applied Epic
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office - Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.
  • Knowledge of and experience with Insurance Carrier websites
