About The Position

As an Insurance Customer Service Representative I at AAA Northeast, you will be part of a team dedicated to providing exceptional service to members. This entry-level position focuses on supporting the Property/Casualty book of business by handling customer inquiries, processing policy transactions, and building customer relationships. The role is designed as a trainee position, where you will learn the ins and outs of insurance customer service while adhering to the company's Five Diamond service standards.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 1 year of experience in a customer service role preferred.
  • Successful completion of CSR training required.
  • Obtain Personal Lines License upon hire or within 18 months based on business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Complete initial comprehensive Personal Lines Property & Casualty insurance training.
  • Provide day-to-day servicing of personal lines policies by answering customer questions and requests related to coverages, discounts, registrations, and claims.
  • Process policy transactions utilizing various carrier systems.
  • Train to recognize opportunities to upgrade insurance coverages and recommend appropriate services and products.
  • Process discounts received through email or mail, ensuring proper documentation is received.
  • Research premium differences to identify the origin of discrepancies and explain them to insureds.
  • Exchange information with insurance companies, underwriters, banks, car dealers, etc., to facilitate processing of insurance-related documents.
  • Build and manage customer relationships and identify opportunities to improve service delivery.
