About the position
The Insurance Defense Associate Attorney position is designed for skilled attorneys with a focus on civil litigation and insurance defense. Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of insurance defense litigation matters
- Draft and review legal documents including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests
- Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, negotiations, and trial
Requirements
- JD (Juris Doctor) degree
- Passed California bar exam
- 4+ years of experience in Civil Litigation for Insurance Defense
- Proven track record of experience in Depositions, Motions, and preferably Trial
- Strong defense side experience in areas such as General Liability, Medical Malpractice, Personal Injury, and others
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in various types of litigation including Labor Employment and Construction Defect
