As an Insurance Defense Attorney, you'll play a pivotal role in providing legal advice and representation to our valued clients. Your responsibilities will include offering expert legal counsel in insurance defense cases, conducting comprehensive research and analysis on intricate legal matters, preparation and drafting of legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery, attendance and representation in court hearings, trials, and depositions as required, and collaborating with our legal team to devise effective case strategies.

Responsibilities

• Offering expert legal counsel in insurance defense cases
• Conducting comprehensive research and analysis on intricate legal matters
• Preparation and drafting of legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery
• Attendance and representation in court hearings, trials, and depositions as required
• Collaborating with our legal team to devise effective case strategies

Requirements

• Active license to practice law in Missouri; Kansas licensure is a plus
• A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in insurance defense
• Comprehensive knowledge of insurance law and regulations
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with clients, colleagues, and opposing counsel
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to navigate complex legal issues
• Meticulous attention to detail and the capability to manage multiple cases concurrently
• Proficiency in legal research and utilization of legal databases
• Effective time management skills to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks efficiently
