About the position

The Insurance Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing sales, training, and assisting the agency manager in developing customer relationships and meeting insurance needs. This role involves training new agents, participating in ongoing development seminars, and ensuring compliance with insurance licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Create and assist new customer relationships.
  • Meet with clients to discuss and assist with insurance needs.
  • Train new agents.
  • Assist agency manager with various duties.
  • Participate in seminars and classes for ongoing development and industry knowledge.
  • Hold proper insurance licenses.
  • Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
  • Assist with other job-related duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Proper insurance licenses.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in insurance sales.
  • Knowledge of insurance products and services.
  • Skill in training employees.
  • Ability to communicate with customers and co-workers in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to sell insurance products.
  • Ability to work with accuracy, organization, and attention to detail.
