About the position

We are seeking a Personal Lines & Personal Auto Product Development Specialist to join our team in Stamford, CT. This role is primarily focused on creating contract language and policy terms for personal auto insurance products. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying opportunities for new product development and revising existing products through comprehensive market research and analysis. You will prepare detailed presentations of your findings and recommendations for senior management, ensuring that our product offerings remain competitive and aligned with market needs. In this position, you will develop forms, contract wording, and changes to underwriting guidelines for assigned products. Your expertise in personal auto insurance product design will be crucial in shaping our offerings and ensuring compliance with industry standards. You will work closely with various stakeholders, including underwriting and compliance teams, to ensure that all product changes are effectively implemented and communicated. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in insurance product analysis or development, specifically in personal lines and personal auto insurance.

Nice-to-haves

  • CPCU designation or equivalent insurance certification.
  • Experience with KPI development and market analysis in the insurance sector.
