About the position

As an Insurance Product Manager for Digital Consumer at Chubb, you will be at the forefront of managing innovative insurance programs tailored for a new generation of consumers and partners. Your primary focus will be on creating insurance solutions that enhance financial wellbeing, ensuring that our offerings resonate with the needs of modern consumers. This role requires a strategic mindset as you will be responsible for developing product strategies that align with targeted verticals, conducting thorough research to understand consumer and partner needs, and analyzing competitor products. You will collaborate closely with various departments including compliance, legal, pricing, sales, marketing, technology, operations, and claims to ensure that the products you develop are not only compliant but also successful in the market. In this position, you will lead the charge in rethinking how insurance is presented to consumers, simplifying complex coverage details into plain language that empowers customers to make informed decisions. Your insights and experiences will be crucial in expanding Chubb's product portfolio within a new profit center, driving growth and optimizing performance. You will also be responsible for developing underwriting guidelines, monitoring performance metrics, and creating action plans to achieve targeted growth and returns. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of insurance at Chubb, making it essential for you to stay ahead of industry trends and consumer expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the management of new insurance programs for consumers and partners.
  • Develop product strategies aligned with target verticals.
  • Conduct consumer and competitor research to understand market needs.
  • Collaborate with compliance, legal, pricing, sales, marketing, technology, operations, and claims teams.
  • Develop underwriting guidelines and territory strategies.
  • Support operations and claims with product implementations and training.
  • Monitor performance metrics and develop action plans to optimize results.
  • Achieve target growth and returns on overall program and action plans.

Requirements

  • 5 years of Property and Casualty insurance experience managing personal lines products.
  • Direct involvement in Property and Casualty compliance and regulatory activities.
  • Results-oriented and driven to win.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with a broad range of U.S. geographic jurisdictions.
  • Experience launching new insurance programs.
  • InsurTech or startup experience.
  • CPCU, AINS or other insurance designations.
