About the position

The Insurance Sales Agent position at Virginia Farm Bureau involves engaging with community members to provide insurance solutions while building strong relationships. Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and community members.
  • Review and service an existing book of business.
  • Achieve sales goals and targets set by the company.
  • Participate in training programs to enhance sales skills and product knowledge.
  • Provide excellent customer service and support to clients.

Requirements

  • Property & Casualty license and Life, Health & Annuities license, or ability to obtain these with training provided by Virginia Farm Bureau.
  • Proof of passing the licensing test.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Good time management skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Prior sales experience is helpful but not required.
  • Goal-oriented and driven to succeed.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in sales (any industry) is preferred.
