About the position

The Insurance Sales Agent Representative at State Farm Insurance is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and promoting various insurance products. This role involves educating clients about their insurance options, addressing inquiries, and building long-lasting customer relationships. The position requires a proactive approach to sales and customer service, with opportunities for professional growth and advancement within the agency.

Responsibilities

  • Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate insurance customers about options.
  • Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service.
  • Respond to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
  • Promote successful and long-lasting customer relations.
  • Review existing customers' accounts to address gaps and cross-sell additional products based on their needs.
  • Prospect, quote, sell, and service various insurance and financial services products to individuals and businesses.
  • Determine customers' insurance and financial services needs by assessing existing coverages and aligning new products and services based on their needs.
  • Provide comprehensive product knowledge and guidance to help clients on product selection.
  • Develop new customer relationships through networking, direct referrals, lead databases, reviews, and marketing calls.
  • Reach targets, consistently meeting or exceeding personal quotas.
  • Input customers' information accurately within the State Farm database to enable tracking history and maintain accurate records.
