About the position

Renegade Insurance is seeking an Insurance Sales Agent/Representative to drive sales initiatives and foster long-lasting client relationships. This role is crucial for leading outbound efforts and contributing to the company's growth through dynamic contributions and exceptional customer service. The position offers a competitive salary with commission opportunities and the potential for exclusive stock options.

Responsibilities

  • Driving sales initiatives in our internal agency, including prospecting and building a pipeline of prospective customers.
  • Driving profitable organic revenue growth through new business production.
  • Ability to overcome sales objections and concerns.
  • Ability to consultatively sell multiple insurance products.
  • Managing high volumes of contacts and ensuring all opportunities are actioned.
  • Ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction and high customer retention.
  • Keeping a focus on our core initiatives and our customers.
  • Having a proactive approach to reaching out to leads and existing customers.
  • Work with clients to present protection and risk management plans and options that fit their risk profiles.
  • Compile complete submission data for quoting.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of outbound sales experience with proven history of production in the insurance industry.
  • Proven relationship building, negotiation, problem-solving, communication, presentation, listening and organization skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast pace and rapidly changing environment.
  • High school degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in sales.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and phone skills.
  • Fluent with Microsoft products, including Teams, with the ability to quickly learn new apps and systems.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience as a former agency owner is a plus.
  • Having referral connections and rooted in the community is a plus.
