Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients by providing personalized insurance solutions tailored to their needs.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients' insurance requirements and recommend appropriate coverage options.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to explain policy details, terms, and conditions while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Market insurance products through various channels, including outside sales efforts and community engagement.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor offerings to identify opportunities for growth and improvement in service delivery.
  • Negotiate terms of coverage with clients while ensuring clarity and transparency throughout the process.
  • Provide ongoing customer support by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and assisting with claims processing.
  • Stay updated on industry developments, regulations, and best practices to enhance service offerings.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in insurance sales or a related field is preferred; retail sales experience is a plus.
  • Strong customer service orientation with the ability to communicate effectively across diverse client backgrounds; multilingual abilities are highly desirable.
  • Excellent analytical skills to assess client needs and market conditions effectively.
  • Ability to negotiate confidently while maintaining professionalism and integrity in all interactions.
  • Familiarity with HIPAA regulations is advantageous for ensuring compliance in client communications.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to outside sales initiatives and community outreach efforts.
  • A valid insurance license may be required based on state regulations; willingness to obtain necessary certifications is essential.
