About the position

JPS Insurance Agency is seeking an Insurance Sales & Service Representative to join their team in Troy, MI. This role focuses on developing insurance quotes, establishing client relationships, and providing exceptional client support. The representative will be responsible for sales presentations and closing sales while maintaining a strong work ethic and commitment to success.

Responsibilities

• Develop insurance quotes, make sales presentations, and close sales.
• Establish client relationships and follow up with clients as needed.
• Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly client support, including responding to inquiries.
• Maintain a strong work ethic with a total commitment to success each and every day.
• Develop new financial service opportunities with both existing and new clients.

Requirements

• Property & Casualty license is preferred, employee must be able to obtain within 30-60 days of offer date.
• At least 1 year of sales or client-facing experience is required.
• Proven track record of trustworthiness, dependability, and ethical behavior.
• Excellent communication skills: written, verbal, and listening.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Motivated and determined.
