The Insurance Sales Representative will be responsible for selling Gerber Life Insurance products directly to consumers through various lead sources, including direct response television ads (DRTV), direct mail, internet, partnership marketing, and existing Gerber Life customers. This role requires the representative to handle initial calls and cross-sell other Gerber Life products as customer needs are identified. The position is fast-paced and demands sharp sales skills to effectively identify and meet the needs of customers while providing excellent service. In addition to sales responsibilities, the representative will also manage inbound and outbound service calls, process new insurance applications by entering information into the electronic database, and utilize a consultative sales approach to sell policies to both new prospects and existing customers. The representative will be expected to maintain a high level of customer service and may also be assigned additional administrative tasks or project work as needed. The role requires a licensed individual who can work a variable schedule, including evenings, weekends, and some holidays. The representative must demonstrate strong sales acumen, effective communication skills, and the ability to multitask efficiently in a busy office environment. The position is designed for someone who is motivated by the potential to earn money and has a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
