About the position

The Insurance Service & Sales Professional role involves being the primary point of contact for clients, focusing on building strong relationships and generating new business through comprehensive insurance solutions. The position emphasizes a customer-first approach, where the professional assesses clients' insurance needs and offers tailored coverage options to help secure their financial future.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients' insurance needs and provide appropriate recommended tailored solutions (including auto, home, life, and commercial insurance).
  • Process policy changes, renewals, and cancellations efficiently.
  • Address and resolve claims inquiries, guiding clients through the claims process.
  • Provide outstanding customer service to clients via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
  • Prospect and generate leads through networking, referrals, cold calling, and other sales strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing ongoing support and policy reviews.
  • Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction and offer additional coverage options as their needs evolve.
  • Collaborate with underwriters and other team members to secure coverage and resolve client issues.
  • Stay up to date with insurance industry trends, products, and regulations.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in insurance or financial services.
  • Experience in customer service roles is highly desirable.
  • NC State Insurance Licenses in P&C, Life, Health (or the ability to obtain).
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build rapport with clients and prospects.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficient in CRM, Microsoft Applications.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with sales administration processes is a plus.
