About the position

MCI is seeking an experienced Insurance Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team and assist with our staffing needs. This role is crucial for identifying and recruiting top talent in the insurance industry, ensuring that we continue to grow and expand our operations. As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will engage with potential candidates, guiding them through the entire recruitment life-cycle. Your primary responsibility will be to learn and grow in your role while becoming an expert in process and productivity-driven recruitment. In this position, you will establish a success-driven, company-wide recruiting process that attracts top talent to our insurance firm. You will review resume submissions, source candidates through a broad-based strategy focusing on direct sourcing, and screen candidates against specific selection criteria. Additionally, you will manage the interview process, ensuring that the hiring team is prepared and that candidates are comprehensively evaluated and sold on the opportunity. You will also be responsible for developing competitive offers, managing offer extensions, and effectively closing candidates. Supporting the onboarding of new hires and maintaining recruitment-related data in a recruitment management system will also be part of your duties. Your role will require you to communicate offers of employment and denials to candidates in a timely and professional manner, collaborate with team members to develop key sourcing initiatives, and ensure that the Applicant Tracking System accurately reflects job opportunity details. Other related duties may be assigned as needed, making this a dynamic and engaging position for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

  • Engage and excite new candidates, guiding them through the entire recruitment life-cycle.
  • Establish a success-driven, company-wide recruiting process that will attract top talent to our insurance firm.
  • Review resume submissions and flag promising candidates for consideration.
  • Source candidates based on a broad-based strategy with a focus on direct sourcing.
  • Screen candidates against specific selection criteria and complete written evaluations to share with the hiring team.
  • Manage the interview process, ensuring the hiring team is prepared and candidates are properly evaluated.
  • Manage candidates through the process, ensuring an outstanding candidate experience and necessary approvals are gained.
  • Develop competitive offers, manage offer extensions, and effectively close candidates.
  • Support the onboarding of new hires.
  • Effectively manage and maintain recruitment-related data in a recruitment management system.
  • Schedule interviews and additional skills testing as needed.
  • Facilitate salary and benefit package discussions as needed.
  • Communicate all offers of employment and denials to job candidates in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with team members to identify and develop key sourcing initiatives to ensure a constant pipeline of talented and diverse applicants.
  • Ensure the Applicant Tracking System information accurately reflects details of the job opportunity.
