Our unique expertise and capabilities in technology, data science and healthcare enable the entire healthcare ecosystem to drive better health outcomes. Granular Insurance is a subsidiary of Verily. Granular's mission is to empower self-funded employers to better manage their health risk with its innovative and data-driven Precision Risk platform of solutions. Granular's Precision Risk delivers better health outcomes and meaningful, long-term financial predictability via more precise underwriting, risk segmentation, and actionable insights into cost drivers. As the Insurance Technology Analyst, you will be supporting the growth of Granular Insurance by performing business analysis and project management functions on projects and processes within the company. These include projects in varying degrees of the project life cycle; from ideation, planning, execution, and maintenance. You will be creating new business processes and adjusting existing ones by collaborating with Sales, Underwriting, Operational and other teams within Granular. You will administer Granular's internal applications and systems. You will also be working with a number of key stakeholders including company management, development partners, staff members, as well as the Verily technology teams supporting Granular. You will be responsible for internal departmental reporting, project management, and program management. To succeed in this role, you will need experience in building and fixing systems and processes. You will need to be able to work at a strategic level and in the details. You will need to feel comfortable working in a “start-up” environment where processes and systems still need to be defined and built. Understanding the data about our business is very important and you will need to be familiar with data definitions, analytics, and reporting.
