About the position

As a Property and Casualty Insurance Underwriter at David J. Louie, Inc., you will play a crucial role in the underwriting process for new and renewal business submissions. Responsibilities

  • Underwrite new and renewal business submissions and determine suitability of risks and proper pricing levels.
  • Provide superior customer service to brokers and/or insureds in a proactive and timely fashion.
  • Identify new opportunities for business growth through communication with brokers and insureds.

Requirements

  • 2 years of Property and Casualty experience required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and good relationship skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Multilingual (Chinese/Korean/Vietnamese) preferred, but not required.
  • Team player with a positive work attitude.
