About the position
The Insurance Underwriter for Pollution & Environmental is responsible for underwriting various environmental risks, including those related to natural disasters, chemical spills, and pollutant discharge. This remote position requires a candidate with experience in environmental insurance to analyze accounts, develop policy structures, and collaborate with legal teams while supervising underwriting assistants.
Responsibilities
- Perform account and exposure analysis.
- Develop policy structures, account pricing, and recommend course of action.
- Prepare quotes, binders, invoices, and underwriting worksheets.
- Collaborate with Legal team for manuscript wording analysis and preparation.
- Delegate and supervise account administration to Underwriting Assistant.
Requirements
- 3+ years of Environmental Insurance or similar Underwriting experience.
- Bachelor's Degree.
