About the position
The Software Quality Analyst plays a crucial role in developing and executing software quality methods and processes, ensuring continuous improvement in software quality assurance standards. This position requires a strong background in IT test automation, functional testing, and the use of various testing tools and methodologies, particularly in an Agile environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute software quality methods and processes.
- Ensure continuous improvement to software quality assurance standards.
- Prepare test scripts and execute test cases.
- Conduct functional and manual testing as well as test automation.
- Perform APIs and Web Services testing.
- Utilize BDD approach in testing processes.
- Report on test execution and analytics to understand business requirements.
- Design test cases and manage test data effectively.
- Collaborate with teams using Agile testing and Continuous Testing methodologies.
- Utilize test management tools and maintain documentation in JIRA or Version One.
Requirements
- Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience in IT Test Automation.
- Proficiency in programming languages, preferably Java.
- Hands-on experience with OOP concepts and exception handling.
- Expertise in functional/manual testing and test automation tools, preferably LeanFT.
- Experience in preparing test scripts and executing them.
- Strong understanding of APIs and Web Services testing.
- Familiarity with BDD approach and hands-on experience with TestNG and Cucumber frameworks.
- Good reporting skills for test execution and analytics.
- Expertise in Test Case Design and Test Data management.
- Proficient in tools like PostMan, SOAP UI, WinSCP, Oracle, Jenkins, GitHub, and AppDynamics.
- Well-versed in Agile testing and Continuous Testing methodologies.
- Experience with Test Management tools and knowledge of JIRA or Version One.
- Understanding of SAFe Agile methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and solution-oriented mindset.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Knowledge of the Logistics domain.
- Experience in Performance Testing.
- Familiarity with Jmeter or Performance Center.
- Certifications in test automation.
