About The Position

The Intake Caseworker is responsible for managing the intake process for clients, ensuring effective communication and documentation from pre-admission to discharge. This role serves as a key point of contact for families and referral sources, emphasizing customer satisfaction and coordination of services.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Services or related field preferred, or equivalent education and experience.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.
• Experience with acute emotionally challenged children or adolescents preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Model and uphold high standards of customer satisfaction.
• Process referral calls promptly to minimize wait times for assessments.
• Coordinate with referral sources and families to schedule intake assessments.
• Facilitate communication with internal and external customers regarding admissions.
• Provide program tours as necessary.
• Maintain client lists and prepare referral and management reports.
