About the position

The Integrated Care Behavioral Health Care Manager position is a one-year, grant-funded role at OSU College of Health Sciences, focusing on the implementation of Collaborative Care programs and providing outpatient psychotherapy services. This position is integral to the Psychiatry Department, supporting integrated care programming and coordinating services among care managers, primary care providers, and psychiatry consultations. The role also involves delivering psychotherapy to patients referred from various medical specialties, ensuring comprehensive mental health support within the clinic.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and implementation of integrated care programming.
  • Implement Collaborative Care programs throughout OSU Medicine clinics.
  • Provide outpatient psychotherapy services to patients referred from various sources.
  • Coordinate services among care managers, primary care providers, and psychiatry consultations.
  • Serve as a key member in the Family Medicine, Pediatric, and Addiction Medicine services.

Requirements

  • Masters Degree in Social Work or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Oklahoma.
  • Experience providing mental health services in therapeutic settings.
  • Strong critical thinking skills and sound judgment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Cultural sensitivity and ability to work with diverse patient populations and professional staff.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous experience in psychotherapy services and counseling services.
