About the position

The North American Integrated Demand Planner at New Balance plays a crucial role in driving business results by developing, analyzing, and executing demand plans for footwear and apparel. This position involves creating detailed unit demand plans at the model, style, and SKU level, supporting both Wholesale and Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) channels in the US and Canada. The planner will also be responsible for interpreting sales forecasts and managing the demand planning process throughout the product lifecycle, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage model/style/SKU level demand plans for one or more Line Plan Businesses.
  • Maintain an accurate style level demand plan using quantitative and qualitative inputs.
  • Pressure test forecasts against bookings and updated accuracy metrics.
  • Manage risks and opportunities to the plan in collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and Merchandising.
  • Lead the monthly Demand Consensus process for all channels in the US and Canada.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Merchandising, Product Marketing, Finance, and Supply Planning.
  • Represent NA Demand Planning & Forecasting in the Go To Market process.
  • Select and maintain system size curves and analyze fill rate performance at the SKU level.
  • Manage and analyze the Sales Forecast input for one or more Line Plan Businesses.

Requirements

  • 4 years of related experience in Demand Planning, Supply Chain, or equivalent.
  • Experience with Demand Planning/Forecasting Software and reporting techniques.
  • Strong skills in Forecasting, Merchandising, Sales Planning, and Demand Planning.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with problem-solving capabilities.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to communicate across various organizational levels.
  • High influencing skills and organizational agility.
