About the position

As an AWS Sports Integrated Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing integrated marketing strategies specifically for the sports industry. This role combines expertise in technology and sports marketing to enhance brand awareness, lead generation, and customer engagement through innovative marketing campaigns that leverage AWS solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop comprehensive integrated marketing strategies aligned with AWS business objectives and the unique characteristics of the sports industry.
  • Lead end-to-end execution of marketing campaigns, including concept development, content creation, channel selection, budget management, and performance tracking.
  • Generate compelling content, including blog posts, social media assets, video content, and experiential initiatives to highlight AWS solutions' value.
  • Cultivate relationships with sports organizations, leagues, teams, and influencers to drive co-marketing initiatives.
  • Oversee the planning and execution of AWS-sponsored sports tentpole events, ensuring seamless integration of marketing activities to maximize brand exposure and attendee engagement.
  • Utilize digital marketing channels, including email, social media, search, and display advertising, to reach target audiences effectively and drive traffic to AWS Sports initiatives.
  • Monitor campaign performance metrics, conduct data analysis, and derive actionable insights to optimize marketing strategies.
  • Work closely with internal teams, including product marketing, sales, and PR to align messaging and ensure consistent brand representation across all marketing touchpoints.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to inform marketing strategies.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data
  • Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience using customer research, hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, generate forecasts, and assess the efficacy of marketing programs
  • Experience utilizing systems and tools involving email, web, analytics, and CRM (Marketo, Tableau, Salesforce, etc.) for targeting, segmentation, reporting for demand generation.
