As a full-time Verizon Retail Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in driving retail sales and enhancing customer experiences within one of our retail stores. This position is not just about selling; it's about building relationships and understanding customer needs through exceptional service and communication. You will be responsible for generating retail sales by leveraging your passion for cutting-edge technology and your ability to connect with customers. Your role will involve learning about customers' needs, positioning product insights, and providing comprehensive solutions that fulfill those needs. In addition to direct sales, you will have the opportunity to grow your customer base by engaging with current Verizon customers through outbound calls and text messages, as well as participating in community events to expand your reach. Continuous self-development is encouraged through ongoing training and skill enhancement in operational functions, merchandising, and inventory management. Responsibilities

  • Generate retail sales by utilizing passion for technology and exceptional customer service.
  • Learn and uncover customers' needs by creating connections and asking the right questions.
  • Position product insights and solution recommendations to provide customers with a complete sales solution.
  • Close sales by using effective communication skills to fulfill customer needs with intuitive tech solutions.
  • Continuously develop through ongoing training and up-skill in operational functions across merchandising and inventory.
  • Grow customer base by placing outbound calls and sending text messages to current Verizon customers.
  • Engage with the community outside of the store to expand the loyal customer base.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • One or more years of work experience.
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience working in a commission-based environment.
  • Demonstrated sales experience communicating with customers to find solutions.
  • Customer service experience.
