About the position

The Integrated Service IT Technician at Security Engineers Inc. plays a vital role in supporting and maintaining IT-related equipment and systems, ensuring optimal performance of security systems while providing excellent customer service. This position offers an opportunity for growth within the company as an early team member.

Responsibilities

• Installing, configuring and maintaining software and hardware components of computer and network systems to support Integrated customer equipment and systems
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting software and hardware issues
• Repairing and replacing damaged computer and network components
• Managing and maintaining hardware, software, and network for security systems
• Configuring A.I. object detection
• Investigating and resolving software and network issues
• Coordinating and communicating with customers and operations to optimize security systems
• Completing all appropriate company paperwork and reporting as required
• Assisting other functions of the department/company as needed
• Complying with safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong technical skills and understanding of security systems and networking
• Clean driving record, no criminal record and drug free
• Ability to learn new software and equipment
• Good customer service & interpersonal skills
• Strong verbal and written communication
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Strong analytical & problem-solving skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Suite

Nice-to-haves

• Security camera systems and software experience preferred
• Flexible schedule to allow for a rotating 'on call' shift for after-hours emergency service calls
• Independent worker who can take initiative when needed
• A quick learning ability, and ability to find technical answers/solutions independently.
