About the position

The Integrated Service IT Technician at Security Engineers, Inc. is responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining software and hardware components of computer and network systems. This role supports integrated customer equipment and systems, ensuring optimal performance and security. The technician will also diagnose and troubleshoot issues, manage security systems, and provide excellent customer service while adhering to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Installing, configuring, and maintaining software and hardware components of computer and network systems.
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting software and hardware issues.
• Repairing and replacing damaged computer and network components.
• Managing and maintaining hardware, software, and network for security systems.
• Configuring A.I. object detection systems.
• Investigating and resolving software and network issues.
• Coordinating and communicating with customers and operations to optimize security systems.
• Completing all appropriate company paperwork and reporting as required.
• Assisting other functions of the department/company as needed.
• Complying with safety protocols and regulations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with security camera systems and software preferred.
• Ability to learn new software and equipment.
• Strong technical skills and understanding of security systems and networking.
• Clean driving record, no criminal record, and drug-free.
• Independent worker who can take initiative when needed.
• Quick learning ability and ability to find technical answers/solutions independently.
• Good customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Flexible schedule to allow for a rotating 'on call' shift for after-hours emergency service calls.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Suite.
