Integrated Technology Assistant

About the position

The Integrated Technology Assistant at Para Los Niños Charter School plays a crucial role in supporting the technology infrastructure and initiatives across the campuses. This part-time position involves maintaining and organizing technology assets, providing technical support, and collaborating with staff to ensure effective technological operations. The assistant will work under the supervision of the Integrated Technology Manager and is expected to manage a catalog of technology assets, troubleshoot issues, and assist in technology upgrades and replacements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a catalog of over 3,000 technology assets being loaned out to staff and students.
• Provide support to staff for technology issues in the classroom.
• Maintain student technology carts and ensure all devices are accessible and secure.
• Conduct monthly technology checks and annual technology collection.
• Provide technical support regarding internet connectivity and Google Suite access.
• Collaborate on purchasing requests for technology upgrades and replacements.
• Maintain organized technology storage areas for staff access.
• Remove outdated and damaged technology via E-Waste requests on a monthly basis.
• Meet weekly with the Integrated Technology Manager to report on progress and support needs.

Requirements

• Ability in Google Suite and admin tools, specifically spreadsheets.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365.
• Experience with hardware maintenance of Chromebooks and PC hardware.
• Proficient in networking and wireless internet systems.
• Ability to work harmoniously with students, parents, teachers, and staff.
• Valid First-Aid/CPR Certificate issued by a recognized training program.
• Clear communication skills via email, Teams, and verbally.
• Self-starter with adaptability to immediate needs.
• Experience in an education program for K-12 students.
