The Integration and Expansion Analyst is responsible for the implementation and support of applications within the healthcare environment. This role involves working closely with end users to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to applications, as well as assisting with the conversion and implementation of various software products. The analyst will leverage their expertise in healthcare business operations to research, evaluate, and provide high-quality, efficient solutions to end users. Additionally, the position entails maintaining and supporting installed application software products, including managing licensing and contracts. In this role, the analyst will utilize appropriate architectural computer tools to develop streamlined pathways, data collection methods, document flows, and reports necessary to support integration projects. The responsibilities also include participating in the evaluation, planning, design, development, testing, implementation, maintenance, and support of IT integration and expansion projects. The analyst is expected to demonstrate accountability in delivering assigned tasks and will report project issues and accomplishments to the Assistant Director of Integration and Expansion. The analyst will analyze and document current and future needs and workflows by conducting interviews and gathering data regarding regulatory requirements, operational procedures, and hospital/departmental policies. They will participate in the planning, development, implementation, maintenance, support, and evaluation of clinical and/or business application systems as assigned. This includes system design, documentation of design decisions, workflow redesign, data collection, database building, testing, and troubleshooting. The analyst must work under indirect supervision to design, document, build, and modify complex critical applications to meet the organization's needs. They will also maintain an up-to-date knowledge of current trends and issues in healthcare business practices, healthcare informatics, and relevant regulations.
