About the position

Apex Systems is seeking a senior-level Integration and Test Engineer to work with a large aerospace and defense company. The role involves integration and testing of embedded processor designs, particularly focusing on FPGA devices. The position is available in Moorestown, NJ, or Syracuse, NY, and requires a strong technical background in software engineering and embedded systems.

Responsibilities

• Integrate and test embedded processor designs, particularly with FPGA devices.
• Provide solutions to technical problems of moderate scope and complexity.
• Implement designs with minimal direction in a Linux environment.
• Utilize strong knowledge of C/C++ for software development.
• Work with embedded processor architecture, including ARM processors.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent technical degree.
• 2-5+ years of relevant work experience in integration and testing.
• Strong working knowledge of C/C++.
• Experience with embedded processor architecture, specifically ARM processors within AMD(Xilinx) and/or Intel(Altera) FPGA devices.
• Experience working in Linux environments.
• Ability to provide solutions to a variety of technical problems related to FPGA embedded processor designs.
• Working knowledge of MatLab.
