About the position
The Integration and Test Engineer position at Protingent Staffing involves managing integration and testing efforts within budget and schedule constraints. The role requires collaboration with system engineering to develop test documents and procedures that align with customer requirements. The engineer will be responsible for preparing formal engineering documentation, supporting design reviews, ensuring customer satisfaction, and conducting system integration and testing activities.
Responsibilities
- Manages effort and time within the budget and schedule provided for the task.
- Understands customer requirements and works with System Engineering to develop test documents.
- Develops integration and test procedures that are traceable to requirements.
- Prepares formal, controlled engineering documentation (i.e. test procedures, test plans, etc.).
- Supports design review material in support of technical interchange meetings with suppliers and external/internal customers.
- Ensures customer satisfaction in relation to projects.
- Supports system integration, testing, troubleshooting, and problem resolution.
- Supports flight testing, data reduction, analysis, and reporting.
- Prepares test plans, cases, procedures, and reports.
- Follows safety precautions and performs hazard analysis.
- Ensures that the work area and equipment are kept clean.
- Complies with established QMS procedures.
- Identifies, documents, tracks, mitigates/exploits, and reports on program risks or opportunities.
- Supports transition from preliminary design to manufacturing.
Requirements
- Minimum 6 years related experience in Integration and Test engineering.
- Minimum 6 years experience in the Aerospace industry, specifically with aircraft systems.
- Cost account management experience.
