About the position
Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) is seeking a part-time R&D Integration and Automation Engineer Intern in Pullman, WA. This role is designed for students who are currently attending university in the Pullman or Moscow area and offers the opportunity to work full-time during the summer. The intern will gain hands-on experience while applying their academic knowledge in a professional setting.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain knowledge in SEL processes and technologies.
- Follow and apply SEL Values and Principles of Operations.
- Understand, create, and simplify processes.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Electrical Engineering Degree
- Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills
- Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities
- Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
- Background check results satisfactory to SEL
- Negative drug test result(s)
Nice-to-haves
- Knowledge of Electric Power Systems
- Knowledge of Computer Networks Fundamentals
