The successful candidate will be responsible for programming and configuring PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) and HMI (Human-Machine Interface) systems using industry-standard software and tools. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to integrate control systems with existing manufacturing processes, ensuring that all projects comply with regulatory standards and safety requirements. In this role, the Integration Controls Engineer will conduct system analysis, testing, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal operation of control systems. Additionally, the engineer will provide technical support and training to other engineers, technicians, and customers, fostering a collaborative environment that promotes knowledge sharing and continuous improvement. The position offers a competitive salary ranging from $120,000 to $140,000, depending on experience, along with quarterly bonuses and significant growth potential within the company. Candidates must be ITAR compliant and possess a strong foundation in control systems engineering, particularly in a live automation environment.

Responsibilities

  • Program and configure PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) and HMI (Human-Machine Interface) systems using industry-standard software and tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate control systems with existing manufacturing processes.
  • Conduct system analysis, testing, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal operation.
  • Provide technical support and training to other Engineers, Technicians and Customers.
  • Ensure all projects comply with regulatory standards and safety requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field desired.
  • 3+ years of experience in control systems engineering, preferably in a live automation environment.
  • Experience with PLC programming and configuration- Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or Schneider Electric.
  • Knowledge of motion control, sensor integration, and data acquisition systems.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Experience with robotics or advanced automation systems. Familiarity with Industry 4.0 technologies such as IoT, machine learning, and predictive maintenance.
