About the position

As an Integration Engineer Lead, you will orchestrate the development of a system of interest, which includes both hardware and software components, throughout its entire life cycle. This encompasses everything from requirements determination to operations and system retirement. A key focus will be on involving domain experts, managing risks and opportunities, and tailoring processes to meet the specific needs of each project. You will leverage your advanced consulting skills, extensive technical expertise, and comprehensive industry knowledge to develop innovative solutions to complex problems. This role requires a high degree of independence, as you will work without considerable direction, and you will also have the opportunity to mentor and supervise team members, fostering their professional growth and development. In this position, you will be responsible for engineering and systems architectures, including design, development, and integration throughout the systems engineering process and systems development lifecycle. You will need to have experience with systems engineering for communications and edge node processing projects or systems, and a solid understanding of Agile methodologies. Your ability to develop solutions that span both software and hardware will be crucial in solving problems and implementing enhancements, which will also involve creating technical documentation. Additionally, you should be prepared for some travel, as the role may require up to 20% travel time. A Secret clearance is required for this position, and candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Physics, or Mathematics.

  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
  • Ability to develop solutions across software and hardware to solve problems and implement enhancements.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.
  • Secret clearance required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Physics, or Mathematics.
