About the position

The Integration Engineer at WorkForce Software is responsible for implementing integration solutions as designed by the Integration Architect. This role ensures seamless integration between various customer processes and maintains technical documentation reflecting any design changes made during the customer validation process. The Integration Engineer will work closely with clients throughout the build, validation, and deployment phases to ensure they can effectively utilize the WorkForce Software solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Configure and develop data conversions for interface solutions connecting WorkForce Software's solutions with customer applications like SAP, Oracle Peoplesoft, Workday, Ascender, or ADP.
  • Configure WorkForce Software (WFS) Suite interfaces and data elements according to customer business requirements using JavaScript, HTML, or other scripting tools.
  • Follow structured processes for gathering requirements, documenting code, maintaining revisions, testing, and developing quality assurance practices.
  • Assist in client validation of the integrations configured for their specific WorkForce Software solution.
  • Gather technical requirements for interface changes and gaps identified during the customer validation process.
  • Create or support the creation of knowledge base documents on WorkForce Software integrations, strategies, and data architecture topics.
  • Conduct troubleshooting on import and export integrations, manipulating incoming CSV/XML/JSON data files for specific use cases.
  • Participate in the design, implementation, deployment, and maintenance of web service integrations between applications across cloud and/or on-premises environments.
  • Support the initial deployment of WorkForce Software solution to production for use by client's general end users.
  • Implement Single sign-on and API authentication in WFS Suite and on-premise environments.
  • Maintain WFS Product Suite certifications required.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years working with SQL and writing complex queries.
  • Minimum 3 years working with JavaScript, HTML, or other scripting tools.
  • Software integration experience is mandatory.
  • Hands-on design, development, deployment, and maintenance of integration processes between applications across cloud and/or on-premises using Cloud Integration, Application Integration, and Enterprise web services APIs.
  • Experience in integrating systems using Web Services (SOAP, REST, etc.).
  • Familiarization with claims-based authentication such as SAML/OAuth, MFA, etc.
  • Knowledge of OCI, Azure experience is preferred.
  • Software architecture and integration experience is mandatory.
  • Experience using services and hosting solutions such as private/public cloud IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS platforms.
  • Experience working with and manipulating XML/JSON.
  • Familiarity with or background in HR, Payroll, or Workforce Management, SAP, Oracle PeopleSoft is preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of OCI and Azure experience is preferred.
  • Familiarity with HR, Payroll, or Workforce Management systems.
