We are looking for a candidate who can effectively collaborate with both project and Government personnel in executing efforts for the Department of the Navy. The ideal applicant will possess excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills, enabling them to manage customer relationships and contribute to innovative technology solutions in a fast-paced environment. In this role, you will work under the guidance of a Lead Systems Engineer to develop key integrations with system hardware. You will help guide the team in understanding the desired solution and iteratively develop and refine software to achieve a high-quality result. Additionally, you will support testing frameworks and automate testing tools to enhance system quality. Your responsibilities will also include determining the root cause of software issues and developing efficient technical solutions, collaborating in our Agile/Scrum software development process, and creating software documentation. A willingness to learn new technologies is essential, as is the ability to travel up to 15% to provide technical assistance to US Navy 5G installations.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with project and Government personnel for the Department of the Navy.
  • Manage customer relationships effectively.
  • Develop key integrations with system hardware under the guidance of a Lead Systems Engineer.
  • Guide the team to understand the desired solution and iteratively develop software.
  • Support testing frameworks and automate testing tools to improve system quality results.
  • Determine root causes for software issues and develop practical solutions under senior guidance.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum software development processes.
  • Develop software documentation.
  • Learn new technologies as needed.
  • Travel up to 15% to provide technical assistance to US Navy 5G installations.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in a STEM field.
  • 1-3 years of experience programming software.
  • 2+ years of software analyst experience.
  • Experience with the software development lifecycle using Agile methods.
  • Experience with testing frameworks and automated testing (Unit to E2E).
  • Experience with SQL and running queries.
  • Experience with software development and integration.
  • Experience with source control systems such as git and GitHub / Azure DevOps.

Nice-to-haves

  • Warehousing or logistics experience.
  • Engineering degree or applicable work experience.
  • Experience working with US Navy or government contracts.
