About the position

The Integrations Engineer I at Convergint Federal plays a vital role in the integration of advanced security and technology systems for clients globally. This position involves collaboration with a diverse team to design, deploy, and maintain integrated solutions that safeguard critical assets, ensuring seamless operation and high-quality service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients, project managers, and solution architects to design and implement complex security and technology integrations, including access control, video surveillance, and alarm systems.
• Travel nationally and internationally to oversee integration projects and provide on-site technical expertise, with an estimated travel requirement of 50%.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to system integration, ensuring smooth and efficient operation of all systems.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, integration processes, and troubleshooting procedures.
• Perform system testing and quality assurance to ensure integrations meet client requirements and company standards.
• Train client personnel on the operation and maintenance of integrated systems to maximize the benefits of the solutions.
• Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies related to security and technology systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, project management, and customer support, to deliver integrated solutions that exceed client expectations.

Requirements

• High School or GED diploma required; Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• Relevant certifications such as INST 3 or SRV 3 are a plus.
• 2 to 5 years of experience managing up to 10 concurrent projects and installer crews.
• Minimum of 2 to 5 years' experience with Access Control, Physical Security, Intrusion Detection, and Video Management Systems.
• Experience in system integration projects, preferably in the security or technology sector, with projects less than $50K per job.
• Proficiency in programming languages, network protocols, and software applications related to system integration.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work well under pressure.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively, including international travel, to client sites; must have a passport or the ability to obtain one.
• United States Citizenship and an active Driver's License.

• Software programming hardware proficiency in Lenel S2, Bosch VMS, Bosch IDS, DMP, Milestone, CCure 9000, Genetec.
