About the position

The Integration Engineer at IBM Research will focus on the integration of advanced logic and next-generation semiconductor packaging technologies. This role involves critical contributions to the development of 2.x and 3D silicon technologies, requiring collaboration with cross-functional teams engaged in various aspects of semiconductor processing and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Integrate processes spanning the back end of the line (BEOL) silicon semiconductor processing.
• Develop and implement advanced logic and semiconductor packaging technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on unit process development and materials analysis.
• Conduct structural, chemical, and electrical analysis of semiconductor processes.
• Engage in layout design and process controls.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a science or engineering discipline.
• Understanding of semiconductor fabrication processes and tools.
• 3+ years hands-on experience in TSV process integration, hybrid bonding, and semiconductor packaging technology.
• 3+ years experience interpreting failure analysis from structural and chemical characterization techniques.
• 3+ years experience with design of experiments, process controls, and statistical data analysis.
