About the position

As an Integration Engineer, you will play a crucial role in an Agile team dedicated to developing healthcare applications and implementing new features. Your work will be guided by the best coding development standards, ensuring that the applications are robust, efficient, and maintainable. You will be responsible for integrating various systems and ensuring seamless communication between them, which is vital in the healthcare sector where data accuracy and security are paramount. Your expertise will be instrumental in enhancing the functionality of existing applications and contributing to the development of new features that meet the evolving needs of healthcare providers. In this role, you will leverage your experience with EPIC modules and middleware systems, particularly Mulesoft, to facilitate integration processes. You will be expected to have a strong understanding of healthcare data standards such as DICOM, HL7, FHIR, and SMART on FHIR, as well as IHE standards. Your familiarity with EMR interoperability, specifically with systems like Epic, Cerner, Meditech, and Allscripts, will be essential in ensuring that our applications can effectively communicate with various electronic medical record systems. Additionally, you will need to understand data security protocols and ensure compliance with relevant regulations while working with customers. This includes responding to data classification practices to safeguard sensitive information at customer sites. Your role will not only involve technical skills but also require effective communication and collaboration with team members and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions that enhance patient care and operational efficiency in healthcare settings.

Responsibilities
