About the position

The Integration Engineer at Peraton will be a key member of the N2W Active IT and project team, focusing on systems engineering, integration, and project management. This role involves providing integration services for various IT systems and devices, supporting the N2W Program Office, and collaborating with contractors and government personnel to address infrastructure issues. The engineer will assess future IT capabilities and recommend integration strategies to enhance the N2W design.

Responsibilities

  • Provide systems engineering, systems integration, and project management expertise for the N2W Active IT project.
  • Support data center engineering aspects of the N2W Project, including identifying and resolving technical requirement issues.
  • Perform analysis of alternatives (AoA) and develop roadmaps and engineering integration assessments.
  • Conduct lifecycle project management analysis and integration support, including studies and major reviews.
  • Research and recommend architecture trades and provide IT product evaluations and cost estimations.
  • Coordinate with other contract/functional areas to ensure a consistent understanding of requirements.
  • Assess opportunities for new IT capabilities at the N2W facility and recommend integration strategies.
  • Monitor N2W IT project activity execution and provide course correction recommendations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, Science, Engineering, or IT related degree.
  • 10 years of experience deploying and implementing data centers or technology center facilities.
  • 2 years of experience analyzing power requirements and managing compute and storage resources for data centers.
  • 3 years of experience designing and deploying end user IT systems, including virtual desktop services.
  • TS/SCI clearance adjudication or ability to obtain SCI and pass a polygraph.

Nice-to-haves

  • M.S. Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or IT related degree.
  • 5 years of experience with Systems Engineering & Integration (SE&I) in NSG/NGA or GEOINT Mission Partner systems.
  • 3 years of experience with Intelligence Community Information Technology Environment (IC ITE) Desktop Environment.
