About the position

The Integration Engineer position is a critical role within our organization, responsible for the technical design and configuration efforts for multiple projects and service calls. This position requires a strong understanding of plant automation, utilizing both in-house integration methods and vendor-supplied hardware and software. The Integration Engineer will interact closely with customers to ensure that project needs are met and will collaborate with sales staff to clarify project requirements. Post-project support is also a key aspect of this role, as the engineer will assist customers with any issues that arise after project completion. In addition to technical responsibilities, the Integration Engineer will occasionally support the sales team by reviewing proposals and acting as a technical consultant for potential projects. This role also involves working as part of the engineering team on larger projects and managing smaller projects independently. Administrative tasks include completing ISO paperwork for projects and service calls and entering time into the engineering database weekly. The ideal candidate will possess a four-year engineering degree or equivalent experience, along with plant process control experience. Familiarity with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Distributed Control Systems (DCS), and various SCADA packages is essential. The role demands strong programming skills for process-related applications, as well as experience with specific platforms such as Siemens PCS7, Rockwell ControlLogix, Emerson DeltaV, Yokogawa Centum, and Honeywell Experion. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary to effectively interact with customers and team members. The Integration Engineer must also demonstrate problem-solving abilities and the capacity to implement tailored technical solutions for specific projects.
