About the position

The Integration Engineer at Booz Allen Hamilton plays a crucial role in enhancing national security and training readiness by developing Live, Virtual, and Constructive Training Environments for the Marine Corps. This position involves translating customer needs into technical specifications and leading the design and evolution of advanced technology solutions to support mission readiness. The role offers opportunities to expand skills in technology, acquisition, and training design while integrating software, hardware, and network capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of the Marine Corps Live, Virtual, and Constructive Training Environment.
  • Design and develop systems that meet customer requirements.
  • Evolve training systems with advanced technology solutions.
  • Merge software, hardware, and network capacity to create a persistent training environment.
  • Utilize distributed modeling and simulation tools to enhance training solutions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience with distributed modeling and simulation and systems integration.
  • Experience creating virtual machines, such as VMWare, Hypervisor, or Virtual Box.
  • Knowledge of distributed simulation protocols, such as High-Level Architecture (HLA) and Distributed Interactive Simulation (DIS).
  • Knowledge of Joint C4I tactical systems, including Link 16, GCCS-J, and USMC C4I systems.
  • Knowledge of principles associated with creating virtual and constructive environments.
  • Knowledge of networks and networking concepts.
  • Ability to utilize network and distributed modeling and simulation tools, such as Wireshark, Redsim, SIMDIS, or RTI-s.
  • Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering or Information Technology.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Team Awareness Kit (TAK).
  • Experience with JLVC, Joint Exercise Control System (JECS), JCATS, JSAF, JLOD, JDLM or ACE-IOS software.
  • Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems.
  • Knowledge of Marine Corps Training and Education Command and associated Battle Simulation Centers.
  • Knowledge of the Marine Corps Synthetic Training Environment, Force Design 2030.
  • SEP Certification.
  • Enterprise Architect Certification.
