About the position

The Integration Engineering SME PM PNT position at Serco Inc. involves leading the design, development, and integration of complex electrical and electronic engineering projects to support military defense initiatives. This role requires collaboration with customers and team members to deliver quality support for logistics engineering, installation, and repair services. The position is based in Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland, and requires a strong background in electrical engineering and experience within the Department of Defense (DoD) environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead designs, development, and integration of complex electrical/electronic engineering projects.
• Lead resolutions of systemic issues, testing, or measurements within a DoD environment.
• Review and approve engineering documentation.
• Serve as lead engineering representative for the ALTNAV Program Obsolescence Management Working Group and other collaborative groups.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related engineering field from an accredited institution.
• 15+ years' experience designing, developing, and integrating electrical and/or electronic systems.
• 10+ years' experience as an engineer within the DoD environment.
• Experience with integrating and installing systems into host platforms.
• Experience with Obsolescence Management.
• Experience communicating with senior leaders.
• Familiarity with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM).
• Familiarity with Army Field Support Brigade (AFSB) and Supply Support Activity (SSA) organizations.
• Must have a current and active DoD Secret Level Security Clearance.
• Must have reliable transportation to the customer site.

Nice-to-haves

• Military Educational Level (MEL) - 4, Command and General Staff College (CGSC) or Non-Commissioned Officer (NCO) equivalent.
• Current Professional Engineering (PE) certification.
