About the position

Protingent Staffing is seeking an Integration Engineering Technician I for a contract position in Huntsville, AL. This role is essential for supporting various engineering projects by setting up and operating specialized test equipment. The technician will be responsible for ensuring that all testing processes are conducted efficiently and effectively, adhering to the highest standards of quality and safety. The position requires a proactive approach to troubleshooting and maintaining equipment, as well as collaborating closely with test engineers and management to ensure smooth daily operations. The technician will also be expected to maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area, following site standard practices and management guidance. This role is critical in supporting the testing and validation of engineering projects, contributing to the overall success of the team and the organization.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate test equipment which may include but not be limited to vibration tables, vacuum chambers, pressure devices, water delivery systems, flow meters, transducers and other test equipment.
• Perform functions that include test troubleshooting, basic equipment maintenance, coordination with test engineers, and engagement with management on daily test activities.
• Clean machines, equipment, and work areas according to site standard practices and management guidance.
• Perform Proof Test & Flow Tests.
• Assembly experience would be desired to assist in tooling up and de-tooling hardware.
