About the position

The Integration Manager plays a crucial role in supporting pre- and post-M&A integration efforts at Wealthspire Advisors. This position involves overseeing the integration process in collaboration with the Head of Integration and the Integration Project Management Office, ensuring that both strategic and technical objectives of mergers and acquisitions are achieved. The successful candidate will work closely with various departments and newly acquired firms, demonstrating strong project management skills and a detail-oriented approach to drive successful integration outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Create deep connections with leaders of the target acquisition firm during the due diligence phase.
  • Conduct working sessions with counterparts to understand current state processes and systems and identify key challenges and opportunities.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive integration plans aligned with the company's strategic objectives.
  • Manage integration projects from start to finish, ensuring key milestones are met within scope, time, and budget.
  • Track and report on progress, adapting plans as necessary to ensure success.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on project status and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with departments including HR, IT, Finance, Compliance, Investments, and Operations to ensure seamless integration across all areas.
  • Act as the primary liaison between the acquiring and acquired entities to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
  • Provide exceptional support to newly acquired staff by setting appropriate expectations and being available and supportive of their needs throughout the process.
  • Conduct deep working sessions with members of newly acquired firm to continually identify challenges and opportunities across numerous aspects of their business.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete mapping of legacy data and processes from source to destination.
  • Validate data using various reports and conversion tools to determine any conversion issues or further cleanup as needed.
  • Facilitate data reviews to ensure on-time completion and data quality.
  • Conduct evaluations post-integration to assess overall success and pinpoint opportunities for improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 5-7 years of experience at an RIA.
  • Proven ability to lead complex integration projects successfully.
  • Excellent communication, verbal and written, skills with the ability to engage with senior executives and cross-functional teams.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Team oriented and collaborative nature.
  • Experience with custodian partners preferred.
  • Strong skillset in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Smartsheet, Industry CRMs, Performance Reporting and Trading applications.
  • Knowledge of change management principles and practices.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) or similar certification is a plus.
