About the position

The Integration Quality Engineer will focus on testing and ensuring the quality of wireless cellular and modem systems, mobile applications, and feature integrations. This role involves auditing sites, performing tests, and providing live network performance results to support product development before integration into the field. The engineer will also be responsible for preparing technical drawings, managing installations, analyzing test data, and interfacing with vendors and customers to ensure successful test system installations and upgrades.

Responsibilities

  • Work on wireless cellular and modem system tests, mobile applications, feature integration, and field/drive trials.
  • Conduct daily audits to retrieve data from OSS configuration files to assess frequency and severity of problems.
  • Map confusions and collisions with weighting by neighbor interactions to prioritize resolutions.
  • Perform tests using strategic control plans to ensure product quality before field integration.
  • Provide live network performance test results and development support.
  • Prepare technical drawings and ensure designs meet specifications for LTE/CDMA/UMTS Technologies.
  • Manage installations and calibration schedules, analyze test data to detect root causes of failures, and improve reception quality across field networks.
  • Design and plan network tests, evaluation activity plans, and monitor equipment installation and configuration.
  • Perform lab tests and evaluate new wireless products and accessories, verifying product features by simulating customer applications.
  • Interface with vendors/customers to manage test system installations, upgrades, failures, and calibration.
  • Implement new network technologies and methods, making recommendations regarding integration based on data from internal quality teams.
  • Prepare test results data and write engineering reports to ensure compliance with requirements and test plans.
  • Maintain test system performance metrics by monitoring data and system performance remotely.
  • Provide subject matter expertise for achieving network interoperability and integration.
  • Perform troubleshooting to ensure sites are alarm-free and coordinate with construction teams for necessary changes.

Requirements

  • Masters Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering, Technology, or a related field.
