About the position

The Integration Solution Engineer position, classified as Information Systems Analyst III, Opt A, is a vital role within the Department of Innovation & Technology (DoIT) of the State of Illinois. This position is designed for individuals who are looking for a rewarding career in a dynamic and creative environment that values problem-solving and innovative thinking. As an Integration Solution Engineer, you will be responsible for providing highly advanced technical specialist and advisory functions in the planning, implementation, and coordination of integration solutions. Your primary duties will include developing code, configuring middleware platforms, and writing scripts or workflows to facilitate data exchange between various systems. In addition to technical responsibilities, you will conduct and coordinate in-depth enterprise-wide management studies that involve extensive technical research and systems analysis. This role also requires you to serve as a project lead, coordinating and conducting application solutions related projects that are complex in nature. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in systems integration, middleware technologies, and project management, along with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Responsibilities

  • Develop code and configure middleware platforms to enable data exchange between systems.
