About the position

The Integration & Test Engineering Intern Level C at L3Harris is designed for students pursuing a degree in a technical discipline. This role focuses on providing program-level support to Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) programs, where the intern will learn about the software test process and gain exposure to the development and implementation of test processes. The position aims to enhance the safety, security, and capacity of global air traffic management systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop test cases & procedures
• Develop automated test scripts to verify requirements
• Conduct tests and document results
• Use software tools, scripting, and software/hardware troubleshooting
• Analyze systems requirements
• Support the development and evaluation of complex system designs and architectures
• Communicate and interface regularly with teammates, other disciplines, and management
• Develop and deliver presentations to communicate design activity plans and status to internal and external customers

Requirements

• Pursuing a B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or other technical discipline.

• Previous work experience with software testing
• Proactive and works independently with little supervision or guidance
• Effective communicator with a focus on customer service
• Coursework and/or experience with Python scripting
