About the position

As an Integration Test Engineer at GDIT, you will play a crucial role in transforming technology into opportunity by supporting the Joint Electronic Attack and Compatibility Office (JEACO) at Point Mugu, CA. This position involves working on the Intrepid Tiger II (IT II) Family of Systems (FoS) Electronic Warfare (EW) systems, which are designed to address communication and radar threats for various USMC aircraft. You will be responsible for conducting integration testing, collaborating with various engineering disciplines, and ensuring that the systems meet military EW requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Interface with management and various engineering disciplines (software, electrical, mechanical, RF, and systems).
  • Support the creation or maintenance of required process/procedure or other acquisition or certification documentation.
  • Review and understand military EW requirements and conduct tests to validate those requirements.
  • Operate and exercise Intrepid Tiger II systems as required for testing.
  • Calibrate and test various systems, components, and applications as required.
  • Redline Intrepid Tiger II user manuals based on observed IT II EW system operation in the lab.

Requirements

  • Active Secret security clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Sciences, or related STEM discipline.
  • 3+ years of Test Engineering experience.
  • Ability to learn how the IT II EW systems operate and exercise these systems safely.
  • Ability to document and update test procedures and results.
  • Ability to work independently in a self-directed manner.
  • Ability to read and understand military EW requirements.

Nice-to-haves

  • Prior EW testing experience.
  • Military experience operating EW equipment.
  • Laboratory integration test experience.
  • Software or hardware EW engineering development experience.
  • Experience with RF test equipment.
  • Java programming experience.
  • Linux experience.
  • Experience with Agile development methodology.
  • Experience with Atlassian tool set (Jira, Confluence).

  • Experience troubleshooting at the system level (hardware and software).
  • Experience operating signal generators and spectrum analyzers.
  • Experience operating communication equipment.
  • Radar equipment experience.
  • COMSEC experience.
